All Saints

Known for its castle building, All Saints is one of, if not the largest setups in the Rutherglen district. We have visited All Saints on several occasions from an extremely busy Easter weekend to a quieter periods and no matter how large or small the crowds have been, the service has always been spot on in the tasting room.
With a huge list of over 30 wines there is plenty to taste including a classy Rosé that comes in a beautiful bottle complete with a glass stopper. The GMS is a banging wine perfect for slow cooked dishes and of course an excellent range of fortifieds.
The restaurant always seems to be busy, which is a good sign, but for something more informal, visit the cheese room and produce store, where food platters can be purchased and taken away. Be sure you grab a glass of one of their wines and sit somewhere on the lawns or watch the ducks on the pond. You will find the grounds are an excellent place to explore when the sun is out.
An old worker’s hut that once housed the Chinese immigrants is still intact and at the rear of the main building and a viewing window looks down to the heart of the working winery.
Immerse yourself in the grounds of All Saints as there is plenty for the wine traveller.

All Saints are as well known in the region for their surroundings as they are their wine. They have an extensive wine list and a very professionally run cellar door. An amazing restaurant. I highly recommend purchasing ingredients for a cheese platter from the cheese room, and heading to the grassy slopes and watching the ducks on the pond, of course taking a bottle (or two!) of wine with you!
