Artisans of Barossa is a tasting bar that acts as a cellar door for seven smaller wineries that don’t have their own facilities. With close to eighty wines from seven producers, Artisans rotates about eight wines through their list. Come a week later and you are likely to get eight completely new wines.
Artisans of Barossa oozes class. It can be found everywhere from the quality paper of the wine list, the wonderful modern fit out, the classy wines, exceptional service and the top notch food platters which had us salivating for more.
The cellar door sits slightly elevated above the valley floor and has a wrap around deck enabling you to take in the view. A basket of toys in an adjoining room will keep the little ones occupied, as well as the large grassed area in front of the deck.
An experience that will not be lost on you and the chance to taste and buy wines that were all excellent from small family run wineries is a bonus.

Visited this winery for the second time. The food and the tasting were excellent. They really know how to make you feel at home. Can’t wait for my next trip

Love, love, love this place. Drank some really cool wine from some smaller wineries that do not have cellar doors. We were starving and were looking for something more substantial that was on offer, but thought 1 platter would tie us over till lunch. The food was soooo good my mate and I ordered two different platters and that was lunch done. If you are a foodie this is the place for you. Great staff interesting wines you won’t see everywhere and simple but clever food using quality produce.
