Duckstein Brewery

Located with decking overhanging a large lake, this is possibly the largest setup in the Margaret River. It combines a wine bar and produce store with that of the German inspired Duckstein micro Brewery with its restaurant and beer garden. There is also space for the kids. The finishing’s on this building are first rate and there is attention to detail shown everywhere.
People can sometimes be turned off by big places due to large queues or it being impersonal or the lack of service. Though this place can have hundreds come through in one day it is the clever way in which this brewery and cellar door have been separated in a way that still has a natural flow and ensures this place works really well. It means that if you want a little quiet you can achieve that. If you want to be apart of the people watching chilled out summer beer garden vibe, that also can be catered for.
Live music plays on weekends in the beer garden and this particular weekend we listened to a traditional German band.Duckstein Brewery does a great job of covering most bases and there should be something for just about everyone. And don’t forget after all that German inspired food to cleanse your pallet with one of their finely crafted beers. Big is not always bad!
