The round cellar door sits elevated above the vines with a black sheep greeting you half way. Inside the tasting bar sits in the middle of the room with floor to ceiling windows making the most of the views. The cellar door is filled with wine stuff (plenty of gift ideas here for your wino friends) and Black Sheep paraphernalia to purchase as well as some foodie bits that also can be sampled by the bar.
Tip please make sure to leave the Chilli Fire chutney till after you have tasted the wines. (Stupid us!) Friendly service and a good range of wines are on offer with the Viognier being a highlight from the whites. From the reds, we tasted an excellent Rascal Shiraz and a Villain Cabernet. To finish we sampled the very excellent and unusual Saperavi, which is a Georgian red grape variety. (Not U.S. but rather from the old Russia) This grape variety only pops up rarely but of the ones I have tasted, Hugh Hamilton stands out as one of the front-runners in quality.

Beautifully set up cellar door overlooking the vineyard. Large range of wines to taste some great, some average. It will be well worth a visit just to taste the range of condiments on offer (Some of the best I have tasted)
