Passing Clouds

Many tourist brochures has Passing Clouds listed in the Bendigo Region but due to several years of drought a decision was made to lift up roots and move to “Musk” just out of Daylesford. The cellar door was opened in 2012 and it was here that we tasted many great wines from Passing Clouds including a Bendigo Shiraz with fruit sourced from growers back in the Bendigo region.
We began our tasting with two very different Chardonnay’s, at different price points, followed by two Pinot’s. All four wines were more than lovely and it was great to taste the difference in the wines and see why those reserve wines cost those extra dollars. Luckily for me the Cheaper Bendigo Shiraz was my pick of the two Shiraz and several bottles were added to my private stash.
Passing Clouds is miles from Bendigo but only minutes from Daylesford, so if you are in the area and love good wine then visit the team at Passing Clouds.
