Punt Road

There is a nice long driveway with a modern small boutique cellar door waiting at the end for you. The staff were very charming and helpful. Make sure you ask where the name of the winery comes from, as there is an interesting story and a great picture above the fireplace that roars in the cooler days that helps to explain the origin of the name. A good range of wines to try and if you want something to nibble, you can put together a cheese platter from ingredients from their small quality produce section. This would be a great spot to stop for a D.I.Y. lunch. They have a bbq where you can cook up your own food with plenty of tables and chairs available outside undercover and a pétanque court waiting for a good game while enjoying one of their nice wines. Plenty of open space to enjoy the picturesque views. You must try the pear and apple ciders as well as a great sticky that offers excellent value.
