This winery has been at the forefront of getting people to drink Pinot Gris and Grigio in Australia. The cellar door facilities have grown over time to include a restaurant, separate tasting room, a café/bar menu and live music played on the weekend to the many outdoor tables. The day we visited was particularly busy and I was a little concerned when ordering some wood fired pizza’s for our group that it may take 40 mins or more before we actually saw our food. Oh well more time to taste the wines while we waited. Having only sampled our first wine, the boys got the call from the girls that the food was on the table. “Really! But there’s more wine”.
T’ Gallant set a standard that any restaurant would be proud of. Not only did they get the food out quickly on a very busy day, but also the wood fired pizzas were fantastic and tasty. After lunch we then went back to the tasting room where the staff were informative and took us through their range of wines describing the subtle differences between Gris and Grigio. We had no trouble in ploughing through the rest of their wines either. It was a perfect way to spend an afternoon, eating, drinking good wine and listening to live music. Definitely worth a stop.

    “We had a late tee-off at one the areas numerous golf courses, so we decided to grab an early lunch at T’Gallant. The wood fired pizzas were quick and tasty, and the outside tables with their excellent views made for very nice lunch.
    What really surprised me though was their extensive selection of white wines in the tasting room, very impressive !”
