Tim Adams

Our host, an elderly woman greeted us as soon as we opened the door. Her wicked laugh and sense of humour throughout our tasting was just infectious. If there had ever been an ounce of the doldrums before we entered Tim Adams then that disappeared quick smart.
We began with a Riesling and an excellent Pinot Gris. Our host guided us through the wines as we sipped and slurped our way onto the reds. We tasted a terrific Tempranillo, a classy Cabernet/Malbec and a bonza Botrytis Riesling. Next we got the surprise of our life with an exceptionally good Tawny (Port for most of us) made right here in the Clare Valley. Who knew that the Clare also produced excellent Fortified wine?
