Whistler Wines

Whistler Wines with its lovely lawns shaded by gum trees is an a ideal spot to relax, have a hit of cricket on their cricket pitch or wander around and discover the corrugated sculptures of people and animals.
Whistler’s large tasting room has a couple of couches for the weary to rest their feet. A basket of toys, kids table and chairs is sure to keep the little people busy.
The wines are divided into either the Estate Range or the Barossa Range. One of the early treats on our tasting was a Sparkling Merlot, perfect with eggs and bacon, the owners told us and as we drank it we could just imagine it. We weaved through the list of wines stopping at an excellent Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc, a tasteful Merlot, and a classy Shiraz. There is also a produce section where you can grab some nibbles and make up your own platter to take outside and enjoy with a glass of wine.
The great service and wine combined with the casual and shaded grounds make for a great winery where you can laze away many hours.
